SEARCH TIPS
1. KEYWORDS, PRICE RANGE, and YEAR RANGE are optional.
2. Use KEYWORDS for brand name, car make, car model, real estate location,etc.
3. Try to avoid using category names in your search keywords, as they are less likely to appear in the ad itself.
4. Remember: Keywords search the text of the ad only, not the category the ad is in (e.g. "Car" is not often used in an ad, but "Honda" is).
5. Try using one keyword first (e.g. Honda) before adding too many others (e.g. Honda Prelude stereo) to see how many ads there are.
6. Please note that many people use abbreviations in their ads. While we try to expand them, some keyword searches may not pull up all ads. You should type in the first few characters of longer words (e.g. chev for chevrolet/chevy) before typing in the full word.
7. If you do not find what you are looking for, please be sure you are looking in the right category for your item. Click on the browse tab above for a complete list of our main category headings.
8. It is best to do searches while logged in to the IWANNA.com site, as you will be able to view the full information available.
How long does a session last once I have logged-in?
Your Session Length begins once you have logged in. After logging-in, you have thirty minutes to search ads as a paid customer. After thirty minutes, the telephone numbers will be blocked just as if you were not a member. If you wish to continue to view ads as a paid customer simply log-in again and you will have another additional thirty minutes to view ads as a paid customer. This process can be repeated as many times as you need within your paid subscription.
Once I submit my ad, when will it be posted and how long will it be on the website?
IWANNA online operates just like the print edition. New ads will be posted every Tuesday. If you submit an ad on Tuesday, it will not be posted until the next Tuesday. Once your ad is posted to the website, it will be posted for exactly three weeks. After the three week period it will automatically be removed from the website. At this time you may re-submit the same ad and it will be posted for an additional three weeks.
How can I change my ad or delete my ad completely?
By creating a username (telephone number) and password, this gives you the ability to edit or completely remove any ad that you have submitted. The Edit Ad section will prompt you for your username and password. Once logged-in you will see the ads that are currently active on the website. If you edit or delete the ad, the changes will be posted the following Tuesday.
Do I have to be a member to submit an ad?
You do not have to buy the online paper to submit an ad. The ad will post just like the other free ads every Tuesday. Only ads that are submitted on-line can be edited and deleted on-line.
Can I place my ad in more than one category?
The IWANNA Online allows you to post your ad for free under one category. If you wish to post your ad under multiple categories, you will have to pay for each additional time that you place the ad in a different category.
How many ads can I place in one edition?
Once you have created an ad account, you will be able to post no more than 15 ads per individual. Some restrictions apply.
I can’t find the ad that I have placed.
You will not be able to find the ad you have just placed until the next cycle of the paper, as it has not been actually added yet. If you have created an ad account then you can edit ads up until deadlines hit, but again, the ads will not appear until the new paper cycle begins.
Will my e-mail be used by the IWANNA in any way other than the service of viewing ads and submitting ads?
IWANNA, INC. uses the information provided by its Web site visitors only for the services described in the site. IWANNA, INC. provides access to this information to such persons only when they identify themselves and/or the institution they represent, and give the proper user password. IWANNA, INC. does not sell, share or otherwise provide information about its Web site visitors to others for any purpose.
